Control Panel - Creating a SIP Peer for PBX

STEP 1

From the VoiceMeUp Control Panel: Click "Peers / Trunks" in the main menu.

STEP 2

Click "New" to create a new peer

STEP 3

1. Select "SIP" from the "Protocol" dropdown
2. Type the peer username of your choice in "Username" texfield
3. Type a friendly name for your peer in the "Friendly name" textfield
4. Select the appropriate proxy from the "Proxy Server" dropdown
5. Type a password of your choice in the "Password" textfield
6. Type your password again in the "Password" textfield
7. Select the type of device connecting to your "Peers / Trunks", if it's a softphone, type the version number.
8. Click "Save"

STEP 4

1. Select the tab "Advanced options"
2. Check the box "Enable NAT" if you require NAT
3. Check the box "Enable DNIS"
4. Click "Save"
