Control Panel - Creating a SIP Peer for Softphone

STEP 1

From the VoiceMeUp Control Panel: Click "Peers / Trunks" in the main menu.

STEP 2

Click "New" to create a new peer

STEP 3

1. Select "SIP" from the "Protocol" dropdown
2. Type the peer username of your choice in "Username" texfield
3. Type a friendly name for your peer in the "Friendly name" textfield
4. Select the appropriate proxy from the "Proxy Server" dropdown
5. Subscribe the password of your choice in the field stating "Choose password"
6. Re register the password in the field called "Confirm password"
7. Chose the phone type that will be connected to your peer/trunk and register the phone software version used
8. Click on "registered" in order to save the configuration
